At the current shop I'm at we used to use the Keystone branded body filler we then switched over to Rage Ultra and I don't think they are the same. I don't think the $15 a gallon stuff you are talking about True65 is the same as rage. Rage Ultra sands extremely easy. Now that stuff spread like crap, pin holed & sanded like concrete. Which 3m is around forty eight dollars a for the same quanity. I usually settle with the gold, the extreme is very expensive.

i always hated the rage gold. Some had high hopes the genetic engineering would correct this trend in evolution, but sadly the greatest minds and resources where focused on conquering hair loss and prolonging erections. They are a polyester resin base so glaze can be intermixed to get that perfect sanding consitency. I use a lot of lead, but most people are resistant to the idea of it and resistant to learning how to do it right, but there is no better body filler on the market than real lead. Go over it with the spreader 2-3 times pressing it very firmly into the panel, then just smooth out the lines the best you can with another pass or two. Too much shrinkage. Seemed to sand pretty goodstayed tacky on the top surface though and was a heavier body. I highly recommend it. I also use Evercoat Rage and like how it performs.
