I wish if the initial spiciness could stand for longer time. To me, Spicebomb smells like a Christmas Market in the wintertime--almost a gingerbread, nutmeg, cinnamon, pine combination that is kind of nostalgic in a way. It dries down to a warm, delectable spicy/woody scent. I get countless compliments on it when im wearing it. I would feel very comfortable wearing this, and I'm a woman. I love this frag SO much. The only downside to this fragrance would be that it does not really improve through the wearing experience. The fiery accord contains notes of chili, saffron, leather, tobacco and vetiver. So SB/E are causal wears while mib is formal. If you Are going to to Walk in city or mountain etc.. it is good. . Interested in trading for Spicebomb. This fragrance is still great and beautifully blended, as is. For women, I recommend more the "Th darbouka" of "l'orchestre parfum": very similar but more unisex (without tabacco and leather). As much as I enjoy the scent of this fragrance, I'm greatly disappointed with the performance. Super nice and warm. It takes me back to my 20s when I would wear this all the time. Not quite a bomb anymore. In my opinion, this cologne is a hit from start to finish! Perfumer Olivier Polge blended spices with sensual undertones; creating two diametrically opposed fragrant accords: 1. the addictive and fiery one and 2. the explosive and icy one. I would probably say that this was what started my proper fragrance journey. I MELT whenever he wears it!! But that first spray is like walking through a spice market in Lagos with funnels up your nose. A woman's perspective: In my judgment from sniffing every Spicebomb flanker, this still remains the best in the entire line-up to my nose. The dry-down blends all notes, they lose that initial sharpness and clear identity, the fragrance turns into a moderate projecting spicy fragrance; also, the initial moderate to strong projection takes one step down to moderate. It is a mix between spices & vanilla, strong & delicate. Someone else mentioned Earl Grey/Chai, and I get that as well - it's like a warm drink in front of the fire, with a Christmas tree nearby. I will say that i appreciate that it's a winter frag that doesn't choke you out like most warm spicy scents. This is a Gorgeous scent, Spicy, Sexy, Addictive, Unique and Modern. On men, women, and all humans, I like scents that fade into our natural odors and mix with them. I also found it to be a bit cloying, as well.
