In small doses, perfume smells beautiful; in high doses, it burns the nose gags the throat and can linger not just for months, butyears. For instance, Denyse of Grain de Musc can detect even a smidgen of sharp ambery woods, and it bothers her very much. Rinse with water and voil, the scent is gone.
