A lovely trolley which I'm slowly getting the hang of opening and closing!It is robust and compact. Also to note that if the fairway slopes even a little bit in either direction the trolley needs frequent correction to keep on a straightish line. I had a faulty handset for my trolley but Stewart Golf dealt with this problem very promptly even though this occurred over the Christmas and New Year break. A policy of continuous development at Stewart Golf meant that the X1 was followed in 2005 by the X3, in 2008 by the X5 and in 2010 by the X7 Lithium. With particularly steep paths (especially if they are narrow) we would recommend keeping the trolley in manual mode, with the trolley set to its lowest speed, certainly if conditions are wet and skiddy. I have owned my X 10 follow for about 8 weeks and at first my friends were a bit envious of the new sporty looking trolly.However 2 months on and they now laugh at all the constant errors it makes.It will do an uncontrollable doughnut when no button is pressed, not a good thing to happen as your playing partner is about to take a shot.When directing the trolley to the next tee as I was on the previous hole putting green it failed to turn and also stop, eventually crashing to a halt into the course perimeter hedge, thankfully there wasn't a lake or river near as the trolly would have been lost.So far unfortunately my experience hasn't been good and I am now starting to regret purchasing this trolly, it's not the improvement I hoped it would be.
